Geoff Bach
At the age of 15 years old, Geoff Bach started juggling as a
hobby in his backyard in Erie, Pennsylvania. He worked with 3
objects mostly and then added another and another until 5 balls
were in the air. It was at this time he was hired to perform his
first paid performance ever at the Old Fashioned Fourth of July
at Mercyhurst College. His first performance ever made him
realize how much fun it was to share his skills with an
audience. He practiced several hours a day and seemed to always
be chasing after new ways to juggle an object or number of
objects. What had begun as a hobby has since taken him through
the
performing stages of life from community juggler, to nationally
and internationally known juggler and multi-talented
entertainer.
After completing his degree at Penn State he traveled the
country with Theatrical Circus “Cirque Ingenieux” from
1997-1999. His skills as a juggler, acrobat during each show and
his use of silent, up close, improv comedy before each show
invigorated the audience with applause and laughter. His
performing amazed audiences from Seattle, Washington to Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, to Mexico City, Mexico and at numerous
venues at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Appealing to
audiences of all ages, he throws many different types of objects
and blends the art of technical juggling with humorous and even
dangerous props. He includes members of the audience for
daringly funny and sometimes unbelievable participation stunts.
His show is a must see for anyone ages 2 to 102.
