Soul Cruisers
The Sensational Soul Cruisers are an 11 man horn group that is
fronted by four vocalists who have, at one time or another, been
part of well known classic R&B and smooth soul groups. Screamin'
Steve Barlotta, a well respected New York saxophone player, has
spent years perfecting this musical sensation and they have
become just that...SENSATIONAL !!! Just think of your favorite
classic, party, R&B song and the group probably performs it. (As
well as you've ever heard) From Sam and Dave or the Temptations
to the Spinners or the Delphonics...from Eddie Floyd to the Soul
Survivors...from Sly & The Family Stone to Kool & The Gang to
Earth Wind and Fire...this group does it...from classic Motown
to your favorite disco songs (from the 80's back to the
50's)...this group does it.
They are the house band for New York's famed Copacabana, and
have performed high profile engagements, including The Whitney
Museum for the late John Kennedy Jr., The Radio City Music Hall
end-of-holiday season event, New York City Bike-A-Thon, and many
charitable events including Variety Children's Network, Special
Olympics, American Red Cross, YMCA, Bergenfield & Tenafly NJ PBA,
Pelham Library, Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and St.
Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. |
