Nick Ferraro
"Tribute To
Elvis"
It's as if the
king never left the building. Thirty-seven year old NICK FERRARO
has combined both vocal talents and acting skills to
authentically preserve the legend of Elvis Pressley. The show is
called "A Tribute To Elvis" and audiences can't help falling in
love with FERRARO'S portrayal of the king of rock and roll.
As a child in his native Philadelphia, FERRARO remembers being
fascinated by the parade of Elvis films that were the staple of
weekend TV. Watching endless marathons of "Clambake". "Viva Las
Vegas", and "Jailhouse Rock", young Nick was instantly attracted
to Pressley's style. "I always respected how he sang", says
FERRARO. "He sang from the heart and soul, thats what I really
liked about him".
Perhaps the most stunning resemblance to Elvis is FERRARO'S
voice. Close your eyes, and you will find yourself in a time
machine to the 50's at a live Pressley concert. From "Heartbreak
Hotel" and "Love Me Tender" to a capella versions of "American
Trilogy" and "How Great Thou Art", FERRARO'S vocal style is
dramatic and hauntingly similar.
Audiences at NICK'S shows will find him paying homage to the
romantic Elvis, with FERRARO on bended knee at a lady's feet,
and placing a scarf around her neck. Response to his tribute is
so strong, that women have offered to start a FERRARO fan club,
and regularly shower him with gifts of Elvis memorabilia.
FERRARO continues to prove that legends indeed live on. He
retains an active schedule, and is currently contracting dates
for the Millennium. |
