1936 - The Swing Era is at its height. Glenn
Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Gray, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody
Herman, and many other big bands are criss-crossing the country and
packing ballrooms from the Glen Island Casino to the Hollywood
Palladium. From its beginnings until today, swing music has
had an appeal like no other.
The Craig Sunday Orchestra is a Big Band in the best
Swing Era tradition. This eighteen piece organization features
over fifty of the original arrangements played by Miller, Dorsey,
Basie and a host of others. This is swing music the way it was
meant to be. From the 30's style Art Deco music stands to the
acoustic sound, the Craig Sunday Orchestra brings back the Swing Era
in all of its splendor.
A professional performance is guaranteed whenever
