In 1961 his debut single for Mercury Records was a
the million seller, "I'll Just Have a Cup of Coffee, Then
I'll Go". Many other hits followed including the all
time classic "The Family Bible".. His "How Fast
Them Trucks Can Go" spawned the TV show
"Alice". Claude has had 13 top ten nationally
charted hits in Billboard and Cashbox magazines.
