CLOUSHER PRODUCTIONS is a veteran owned entertainment company founded in 1972 by Fred Clousher, a Pennsylvania musician, music instructor and band leader, for the purpose of providing quality entertainment to fairs, festivals, banquets etc.Clousher Productions to this day still operates under the same management of owner Fred Clousher, who is also known as Freddie Cee, among his close entertainer friends ! Being a stage performer himself for more then 30 years, has given him the knowledge and experience necessary in recommending the proper musicians/entertainer/performer for your special event. Experience and contacts count in this business, and Mr. Clousher has both, in booking all types of entertainment. His experience as a musician/entertainer is invaluable, understanding both the agent’s and performers point of view. This knowledge and attention to detail is beneficial to the purchaser in the selection process, to assure your event will be the success you want it to be. From 1963 until 1967 Fred was a guitarist with the U.S. Navy, having entertained our military on ships and military bases around the world, including Viet Nam. During this period he had the opportunity of performing with such current day celebrities as Dick Contino & Johnny Grant, among others. He is a graduate of the “Navy School Of Music” located in Little Creek, VA. While in Viet Nam, he teamed up with Slim Anderson, a Nashville recording artist, and together they played many USO clubs & military bases. Together with Slim, they wrote and recorded “Navy Wings Of Gold” in a small studio in Saigon City. This was the Navy’s answer to the popular song, “Ballad Of The Green Beret”. His performances in Viet Nam, Japan, Hong Kong, & the Philippine Islands are most memorable. Around 1968, after returning from military duty, Mr. Clousher taught guitar at Menchey Music Service, Frankie’s Music Shop and Wray’s Music, all located in south central Pennsylvania. During this period, he formed a band along with three other musicians, and called themselves the “Mark IV”, performing at Holiday Inns, night clubs etc. around Pennsylvania. At this time, he began meeting and working with many of the top stand up comedians and variety acts, lending musical assistance and/or becoming the opening act as needed. When this group disbanded, he formed the “Hawaiian Revue” show band and began specializing in Hawaiian entertainment. The Hawaiian guitar was his first instrument ! This group performed at country clubs, hotels, military bases, amusement parks and anywhere there was a luau in search of entertainment, in the PA/MD/NY/NJ/DE/VA/WV areas. By the end of the 80’s, it was becoming difficult to run an entertainment agency and performing himself, so he had to give up performing, and concentrated on the talent agency. Clousher Productions since, has become a leader in providing quality entertainment of all types to buyers coast to coast., having booked everyone from Johnny Cash to Tony Bennett, and Lee Greenwood to Kenny Rogers to the Temptations to name just a few. In association with the Elks, Mr. Clousher provides a professional show one time a month at the local VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA for our military heroes. In 1992, Mr. Clousher was inducted into the Marquis “Who’s Who In Entertainment” !
